What is microblading?
Microblading is a cosmetic tattoo that creates thin hair-like strokes on the brow line. This technique creates the look of thicker and fuller brows and lasts about 2-3 years at most without getting annual touch ups. The special tool used consists of anywhere between 12 to 18 tiny needles which are used to lightly deposit ink into the bottom layer of the epidermis on the brow line.
What is the difference between Microblading and shading?
Microblading is the uses small needles to create thin, hair like strokes. Unlike Microblading, Microshading does not create the illusion of individual hairs, but fills in sparse areas using a fine tipped needle. Instead of a more natural hair stroke, microshading creates a look that looks as if they were airbrushed or powdered. These techniques can be combined to create a unique, full and natural look. There are many different shading techniques we offer, such as Microblading, Ombre Powder Brows, or a combination of both. We also offer touch ups and color boosts which are recommended annually to prevent fading.

What is involved in this procedure and how long does it take?
The Artist will start by shaping in your brows to your desired shape and thickness. This process can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. After that, the therapist will apply a numbing cream to leave on for about 20-30 minutes. After the numbing cream has taken effect, the artist will then begin microblading. This process can take an hour or more depending on the amount of work that needs to be done on the client. Typically, the total amount of time spent on a client is no more than 3 hours.
How long does it last?
The results will start off to be a little dark at first, but once it has healed after about two weeks, this color should last between 1 and 3 years, without annual touch ups. The more oily the skin is, the less time it will last.
What is the cost?
The cost of microblading ranges from $400 to $1000 depending on what you desire to get done. Annual touch ups range from $150 to $500.
